Senior Accountant

We are seeking a career-oriented Senior Accountant for our manufacturing client located near Salem MA. Responsible for overall accounting functions including month-end close activities preparation of balance sheet and income statement revenue recognition forecasting budgeting cost accounting and SOX compliance. Must have hands-on accounting experience in a manufacturing environment with outstanding communication problem-solving organizational and computer skills (MS Office and ERP software). Background in SOX and SEC reporting. Experience with ERP Systems or Lean Manufacturing is a plus. Bachelor s degree in Accounting or Finance required with a minimum of five years of directly related work experience. Highly competitive salary and benefits package. Local candidates only.
