FT Math Teacher grades 6-8. The candidate will be responsible for teaching all levels of middle school math through honors algebra. He or she should have subject matter expertise and be able to design unit and weekly lesson plans aligned with standards monitor student progress through regular assessment and feedback collaborate with team members participate in ongoing professional development and communicate effectively with parents as partners. In addition most graduates attend private high schools so must be well prepared for SSAT s and other placement testing. Certification preferred but will consider candidates with a strong math background willing to pursue certification.
