Unlike a lot people who advertise for video editing I actually went to college for film and have been lead editor and writer on many projects including several award winning short films. I have recently moved to the Sacramento area from LA and I am available for videography and video editing work in the area. No project is too small or beneath me if it is in my field and pays the bills I am game. What I do -Films -Commercials -Graphic Design -Other Videography and Video Editing -Creative Writing Analysis Media Reviews All of which can be seen at trevormerrill.com What I DON T do -Adult film work or anything with sexual content Here are my credentials -I am a Writer Director Editor - BA in Film Production and Analysis -Experience with RED Canon DSLR GoPro Sony FS100 and other kinds of cameras -Adept with the Adobe CS6 Creative Suite and FCP7 -Have made 4 short films on a shoestring budget which won a total of 8 awards at festivals -I was the top filmmaker (especially writer and editor) at two DIFFERENT film schools. I am willing to try new things and learn new skills. This means that I am willing to give any position a shot. Everyone I ve ever worked with can vouch for my work ethic and skill sets and I do have a few connections that I could bring to the table as well I do not own my own camera gear but I do have the full Adobe CS6 Suite on my PC. What I am looking for -Full-time paid work ideally but part-time or gigs are acceptable. -Looking first in my field of filmmaking but secondly to other areas that have elements (movie theaters movie rental stores camera stores etc.) -Somewhere that I can put my skills to good use be creative and just be a storyteller. Fees will be determined on a project to project basis and will be dependent on what services you will be requiring what gear needs to be rented and travel expenses.
