VOCABULARY FOR MEANING College Entrance Exam Words Learned through Sentence Context Students cannot score high enough on the English section of college entrance exams without a strong vocabulary. Memorization of new vocabulary words is mostly a tedious ineffective way of retention. Our contextual critical thinking method resolves these two issues by having students analytically engaged in learning new words. This level covers 1600 vocabulary words in sentences formatted in 160 sets consisting of 10 words with their mixed-definitions in each set. This studybook includes all 1600 word pronunciations recorded on 2 CDs to assist students in the pronunciation of each word along with the pronunciation key. This study in contextual meaning facilitates understanding of such test questions as the new SAT sentence completions as well as the critical reading exercises.
