We d love to introduce you to Russ a 1-year-old German shepherd brought to us as a stray. He s a lively young dog who weighs 84 lbs. Russ did well in his behavioral evaluation with our dog trainer who said he knows sit by hand signal and likes to play with rope toys and squeaky toys. He s very mouthy when playing with toys and because he guarded a rawhide during his testing our staff recommends him for a home where children are at least 12 years old. Russ needs to learn leash manners and pulls toward other dogs. We think he ll do best with an adopter dedicated to frequent walks and training sessions that will help dog and adopter to bond.
