Lead Technical Editor and Writer 4

Responsible for leading the technical development production and delivery of Complex Aircraft and Ground Segment Maintenance Technical manuals in support of a complex military program. Ability to direct and manage the creation of digital technical manuals using tools conforming to government standards & specifications and or AECMA (S1000D). Establish and manage all contract commitments including Interdivisional Work Order activities related to Technical Manual development ensuring quality cost and schedule objectives are achieved. Act as the primary interface with Program Management internal and external customers and the Logistics Function to define and implement optimum support concepts that integrate with program schedules and budgets. Direct and control all Technical Data proposal activity and ensure proposal and price conformance to Sector and or Business Area policies. Oversee and approve cost account plans schedules and budgets. Ensure compliance with Corporate and Logistic self-governance guidelines. Individual must have proven leadership qualities and a comprehensive background understanding of all aspects of logistics. Qualifications Basic Qualifications BA BS in management or an engineering related field and minimum 10 years logistics program execution experience related to the management of MIL-SPEC AECMA S1000D Tech Order development. Current Secret DOD clearance required. Preferred Qualifications Advance degree (MBA preferred) and prior UAV program logistics experience.
