Meet Carley. She is a big ball of love. She came from a sad situation and is so incredibly happy to be anywhere near people. She likes to sit beside her person or even on your lap. She gives big kisses and just smiles. She is medium energy and likes to play with other dogs or even a bit of tug o war with humans or dogs. She and her playmate will just run all over the yard carrying a toy together. Then she will jump up on the bench and lay down and give him a look as if to say I m done unless you want some more of me. If he insists she will go again. She appears to be a Hound mix and has thick hair and loose skin. She certainly loves to chase after the birds in the trees. Given half a chance she would climb up after them. Her hunting intent and prowess is apparent. She is mostly white with three big black spots lots of little ones and a mostly brown mask. She weighs about 60 pounds and is about 1 1 2 years old. She is generally quiet and content (until she spots a tiny creature that must be chased). Her favorite activity is snuggling and being petted. She is just so happy to be alive and free. She is only so so on a leash. She spent the first year of her life tied tightly to a tree and doesn t seem too keen on the idea of being restrained by the neck but she is making Great improvements Other than that she is happy to do as asked and wants human approval. She will do well with nearly any family as she gets along with everyone except cats. She will chase them. HHS.
