Assistant Director Preschool - Compensation: TBD

Seeking part-time Assistant Director at preschool in southwest Littleton director qualifications preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with CDHS Rules & regulations necessary as well as working experience with young children. Candidate must be professional in appearance and have excellent communication skills as touring potential families facilitating the enrollment process and communicating with parents and staff is a daily necessity. An educational background with an ECE focus is preferred as knowledge of child development assists in parent communications as well as supporting staff in the classroom enabling the Assistant Director the ability to offer classroom assistance when the need arises. The Assistant Director reports to the Director and Center Owner and is responsible for a variety of front office duties in addition to offering classroom support. Jordan Alexander s Preschool offers care Monday through Friday to children aged six weeks through six years in a variety of age-segmented classrooms that focus on implementing developmentally appropriate activities using the Colorado Building Blocks as a planning template for our thematic-based curriculum which incorporates play-based models to support social-emotional development alongside an academic-cognitive focus using Masolw and Vygotsky as whole-center curriculum influences.
