Help a Charity - Online Survey Recruiting Men and Women with Tra

Researchers from the University of Missouri - St. Louis are conducting a research project examining the impact of men s and women s traumatic sexual experiences in adolescence or adulthood and are looking for participants. The information gathered from this online survey can help us identify important modifications to existing therapy protocols as there is data to suggest several of the existing therapy protocols for individuals with distressing sexual experiences may not be equally effective for all individuals.Men and women (age 18 ) who have had a past distressing sexual experience that occurred at or after the age of 14 are invited to participate in this study by completing an anonymous survey about their own distressing sexual experiences. Participants who choose to take part in this study will be asked to complete a brief ( 30 minute) online questionnaire. No identifying information will be collected.This study has been approved by the University of Missouri - St. Louis IRB (approval 1129510-4). For your participation a 5 donation will be made to a charity of your choice that you can select from a list of possible charities.
