Antique Desk Lamp - Circa 1900- 1940 - Ornate cast iron base with Flex Pipe Goose Neck Extension for height adjustment. Base is equipped with two holes for securing lamp to table workbench or desktop. Lamp has been repainted and rewired Works as intended. Original light bulb socket and wall plug use when rewired. A characteristic of this type of lamp is the metal shade will come of if you try to adjust lamp by handling the metal shade. Adjusting should be done by using the flex pipe part of the lamp. Lamp was designed for a maximum of a 60-watt bulb. (Not included.) Measures 12 tall in normal adjusted position. Will stand approximately 24 in a straight up position. The base measures 7 by 5 .
