Woman Reading - Original Pastel by Falcinelli - Price: $4,600

This is an original pastel on carton portrait of a woman reading at night. A wonderful image in bright colors showing a woman dressed for night reading by incandescent lamp. Signed Falcinelli lower left inside the image. Acquired from an antique dealer who purchased it outside Paris. The dealer said the piece is from the early 20th century. Framed in an ornate heavyweight brass leaf frame and mounted under UV-resistant glass. The frame restorer who repaired two chips in the frame said the frame is a 1920 s era frame. Frame Size 28.5 inches H x 25 inches W (72.4 cm H x 63.5 cm W). A wonderful colorful piece of Impressionist art.
