Akron Company is seeking a Plant Maintenance Technician. Key responsibilities of the Plant Maintenance Technician will be to operate monitor and maintain facility operations. Inspect adjust and repair electronic electrical and mechanical pneumatic systems. Read blueprints and diagrams. Install maintain troubleshoot diagnose and repair electronic and electrical systems. Inspect electrical components including transformers circuit breakers and variable frequency drives. Inspect gauges flow meters and other indicating or control equipment.REQUIREMENTSAssociate Degree in Electrical Technology or a Certificate of completion from an electrical technology training program. 2 years maintenance electrician experience (preferably in an industrial environment) Experience with inspection and repairing electronic electrical and mechanical pneumatic systems. Must be able to work either 2nd or 3rd shifts Must be a good team player Must follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electric Code.
