Meet Buddy Bassett Hound MixApprox. 7 yrs old42 lbs.Buddy has had quite the life if he could talk to us I m sure he would have many stories to tell. Unfortunately some of those stories might be quite sad. Luckily Buddy was rescued by an angel in Alabama who made sure that Safe Haven got him to safety here in IL. Buddy has spent some time at the vet getting all fixed up and now he s ready to find a family who will love him for the rest of his life Buddy loves people and animals of all kinds He especially loves children Buddy loves to cuddle with people and get as much attention as he can especially rubs on his belly Buddy s energy level is low but he does enjoy a good game of fetch from time to time Buddy also enjoys short walks and does very nicely on a leash.Since Buddy loves being around people so much he would like to find a home where someone is home part of the day to keep him company he especially seems at ease when his people are around. Buddy is housebroken and crate trained. Our standard adoption fee is 295 cash or check and 300 credit card ( 5 processing fee). It includes spay neuter when age appropriate at our participating vets age appropriate core vaccinations fecal testing deworming flea and tick preventative 1st vet visit at one of our participating vets and micro-chipping.
