An Akron based OEM is seeking to add an electrical controls engineer to their team. The primary mission of this role will be to design implement and support industrial machinery control systems. Duties will include the use of AutoCAD for system hardware layout PLC programming troubleshooting and start-up de-bug in the field. This position will require 20% international travel. REQUIREMENTSBSEE or BSET 5 plus years of experience with industrial machine control systems Demonstrated experience with the design configuration and de-bug of PLC HMI programs Direct experience with RS Logix FactoryTalk View and Siemens S7 WinCC Working knowledge of hydraulic controls process control instrumentation and motion control Familiarity with network communication protocols to include Modbus Profibus DeviceNet etc. Ability to travel and work in a team oriented environment to resolve problems on the shop floor.
