Hi everyone. My name is Jacala. My sister Misa and I were rescued recently from a rural shelter but I had to go to the hospital for a few days. It turned out that my hip was broken and I had to have surgery but I am getting better every day. I should be good as new in a couple of months but right now I have to take it easy which I m not happy about. I would much rather be able to play with the other dogs and run around the yard. I am learning to walk on a leash and working on house training. I love attention from my humans but a treat is a nice reward too.The other dogs sometimes make fun of me because I have one brown eye and one light blue one. I think it makes me unique. Do you like my freckles I think they make me look like a fun loving girl.Jacala was born in early May. She is believed to be a hound mix and probably will grow up to be about 40 lbs. She is very sweet and loving and will be a great addition to a family that has the time and patience to continue he housetraining and obedience. Another calm yet playful dog would be very helpful.
