Maxwell - Male German Shepherd Dog Mix

Maxwell is a happy black and tan male German Shepherd puppy who is about 9 months old. He was a backyard dog so did not get much training but is starting his obedience now. He is getting used to being an indoor dog and is good in his crate. He likes the male and female GSDs in his foster home and is learning how to get his share of cuddles from his foster parents. Maxwell rides well in a car and likes to play. With a little TLC Maxwell is going to blossom into the wonderful dog he was born to be. Like all puppies he needs owners who are home enough and have the time energy strength and patience to guide him through his chewing digging and mouthing stages (which can last until they are 2-3 years old) and who will provide regular exercise socialization and training so he will grow up to be a mannerly adult dog. All puppies bark incessantly dig and destroy things if they are left alone for long periods of time and thus need to be with owners who do not leave them alone for long hours. Priority will be given to families with experience raising German Shepherd Dog or similar puppies.
