Meet Sassafras a young chihuahua mix who came to us as an owner surrender. We were told that Sassafras became pregnant with the owner s Pomeranian before she could be spayed. Sassafras is estimated to be around 9 months old and weighs around 6 lbs. Sassafras is heartworm negative and an ultrasound indicated that she is expecting around 5 puppies. She and the puppies will be available for adoption once the puppies are weaned and Sassafras is spayed.... More Info
