Meet Benton. He was saved off of the streets by a good Samaritan. His home was an alley in a very rough part of town where he slept with cats and didn t want to take part in the stray dog pack in the neighborhood. Benton is a very friendly boy and the neighborhood kids would call him then throw rocks and kick him. That did not hurt this boys spirit Benton is precious He is learning crate training and already knows how to sit and shake hands. He is great with other dogs is doing great at leash training. This boy is always up for a game of fetch...okay its more like he bounces after the ball finds it and then walks around like he has found a gemstone He wags his whole body He has puppy like coordination so we know this is all new to him he s adjusting well. Benton is very underweight but eating well and steadily gaining. He is about 60 lbs and needs another 5 lbs. or so. Benton loves everyone he meets including kids He will make a great family dog with the help of a patient and dog savy owner. Maybe some training classes every dog needs them really. Benton is 100% house broken and has not lifted his leg on anything. He has a wonderful disposition and is only 10 months to 1 year old.
