2009 Jetta S 5 speed

Adult driven for daily work commute. I have 3 of the original wheel covers lost one so took them all off. The car has not been driven since January however I have started it to keep the battery charged. The service light is on so it will need service after purchase. (you can see the service light in my dash picture).I took the car in for inspection back in December and was told the car cannot pass emissions inspection because the light is on and I would need to have it connected to the computer to see what it needed. (At a fee of 90.00)The tech told me it has a misfire in cylinder number 1 and that it would take more work to figure out a quote on the cost of repair. At 80.00 dollars an hour.The car passed the safety inspection but I was told they can not put that sticker on the car without an emissions sticker. With them not being able to give me an upfront cost I decided to try another shop and after a free computer check was told it needed spark plugs and went ahead with the job being done only this did not fix the light and was once again unable to obtain an emissions pass.I decided to buy a new car at this point.So I have this Jetta for sale an willing to let it go very inexpensive as for I don t need it anymore and its really just taking up space in my driveway.I would recommend this car to someone who is knowable of cars or has a good fair mechanic. Please be prepared to transfer ownership in person at a local auto tag location near me. (it s just down the street really) No shipping you must pick up in person and transfer ownership in person please.
