Neighbors and ResidentsUrgent help is needed - all we are asking for is phone calls leave messages to City of Riverside Code Enforcement and City Mayor s OfficeIndividuals who rent a house across from our home have tied 30 feet of tarps along a chain link fenc right next to public streetIt is a code violation by itself HOWEVER it has become a canvas for gang taggers ever since it was placed upIt has been up for 1 week and tagged 5 times all ready.It is attracting gang bangers taggers into our neighborhood and communityThe individuals who put it up DO NOT CARE - they drive by the tarps everyday do nothingWe called the City and Mayor s Office who agreed it is a code violation - but lack the enforcement that is desperately needed to stop taggers gang bangers from coming back to tag the tarps even more into our community and neighborhoodWe do not need to RPD to patrol the area just for the tarps to avoid more tagging - THE TARPS NEED TO BE REMOVED PERIOD AND IMMEIDATELY - THEY ARE MERELY HELD ON BY STRING ROPE AND WOULD TAKE 5-10 MINUTES TO REMOVE - LITERALLYNeighbors and myself have been asking the City every day to have these tarps REMOVED IMMEDIATELY - THIS IS A PUBLIC SAFETY ISSUE AND CONCERN... yet the tarps remainPLEASE HELP - the more calls the betterCode Enforcement Gary Merk 951-826-5633 and or 951-826-5311 Mayor Bailey 951-826-5551DO NOT LET CALL CENTER CODE ENFORCMENT TELL YOU THE TARPS ARE NOT A VIOLATION - G MERK HEADS THE DEPARTMENT WHO CONFIRMED IT IS A CODE VIOLATION AS WELL WAS THE MAYOR S OFFICE CONFIRMED IT IS A VIOLATION WITH OR WITHOUT GRAFFITIThe address of the safety issue 9067 Cleveland Ave Riverside Ca 92503 - Please make calls - pass the word - help protect our children homes and property - get these tarps down that the gang bangers keep returning too.
