Stormy - Male Pomeranian

Stormy is a spunky and fun little 13year-old black Pomeranian. He hops skips and jumps when he is playing (so don t tell him that he s middle-aged because he looks and feels young ). A diet at his foster home has already reduced him from small watermelon size to that of a regulation football. He s an active fellow so his previous home must ve fed him too much Stormy loves sniffing and exploring the yard his foster mom has watched him explore for over an hour He s a smart little guy too. He can sit and lie and use the doggie door. He is also crate trained and rides nicely in the car. When Stormys inside he likes to sleep by your side or play with plush toys which he pounces on with wild abandon. Stormy is joyful and playful and a great little buddy that will often trail you around the house. He wants to let you know that he s there so he ll sometimes greet you with a lick on your ankle. He s not a big licker overall but he will sometimes lick you when he s sorry or when he s really happy about something. Stormy barks less than the big dogs at his foster home so he s not a yapper. But he will alert if someone is on your front porch. The vet said that Stormy has excellent teeth for his age. Stormy needs a guardian (owner) that will keep him inside most of the time keep extra weight off of him keep his nails trimmed regularly and keep him for the rest of his life. Stormy might prefer to be an only dog but he would do fine in a home where other dogs are laid back or neutral or with an experienced owner that will insure that Stormy plays nice.
