Peanut is a pretty 2-year-old with a short tortoiseshell coat. She s polydactyl meaning she has extra toes like all those Hemingway cats down in Key West. Peanut was brought to the shelter as a stray by a resident who found her in a neighbor s back yard and she s waiting to meet you in our Cat Room. Our volunteer Cat Coaches say Peanut enjoys being petted and gives vigorous head-bumps to let you know she wants more. Peanut responded when her handler called to her and she had a good time playing with the Neko Fly fishing pole toy our Cat Coaches say she s an active cat who would be a good fit for someone who will play with her on a regular basis.
