For more information about Joey please email ----(at)--X or call -.-.-X.Joey is a small Yorkie Yaltese or Morkie mix born around January 2016. He has extremely soft hair. He somehow had a broken jaw and his owners took him to the vet to euthanize him as they didn t want to pay to fix the jaw. Instead the vet had them relinquish the dog. We fixed his jaw and he is as good as new He is a very sweet and affectionate puppy who does enjoy playing. Ideally we would like to place Joey in a home with another young dog to play with. Being a puppy he is fairly active. We want a home for him that has an enclosed yard in which to play. He is absolutely adorable but he does bark. He gets along with dogs and since he is not aggressive at all might be fine with cats but that hasn t been tested. He currently weighs 8 pounds and we are estimating his adult weight to be around 10 pounds. He is crate trained but not totally house trained yet. We suggest a home with children over the age of 10 for Joey. He cannot be adopted out of state. Please see our home page (-.---X.- ) for a list of our Saturday adoption sites. Every potential adopter is required to fill out an adoption application and the dog is placed in the home that would be most suitable for him. We do not place our dogs in homes with unfenced swimming pools. Generally we don t release dogs to adopters at the adoption site that day except on occasion to former adopters.
