Don t let me waist - Male Rottweiler Mix

We just got an email today about a great dog who is going to be euthanized beginning of the week. His name is Apollo. He is only 3 years old and believe me it is a heartbreak to see how many great dogs are euthanized in a week. So we are posting him as a last chance. We would love to take him but have no room. This is what the staff has to say about him. This is really his last call Apollo A673529- He s a 3yr old male Rottweiler mix who is currently in adoptions. He did well for his evaluation and is good with other dogs. He s been great with the volunteers and Is one of their favorites. He is housebroken and knows his basic commands. He s just an overall nice dog. However he keeps getting overlooked . We ve posted him on facebook and tried making him the pet of the week but sadly people just haven t taken the time to meet with him. He is getting a little stressed in the kennels and has now started crying barking in his cage (before he was very quiet). He s a great dog and I would love to get him out of here before he goes cage crazy and has to be euthanized. His intake weight was 55lbs. He is heartworm negative. Update he is now with Gulf coast Humane society and is still in a kennel which is not good. Apollo needs to get in a home ASAP so he doesn t loose it again.
