Shelby is a very sweet very special little old lady and she is ready to spend her retirement bringing lots of love to her new family Shelby is an approx. 11 year old Rat Terrier Italian Greyhound mix with an adorable sweet face graceful long legs and a very gentle disposition. She can be shy around new people and in new situations so would do best in a calm and quiet home with a predictable schedule and where there aren t a lot of visitors or young children. Shelby LOVES treats and food definitely seems to be the way to her heart She walks well on a leash seems to be housebroken potty-pad trained and once she relaxes she ll curl up in a dog bed or on a cushy chair for a nap. Shelby came to KHS with a skin infection that is has cleared up nicely with medical treatment but there is a small chance that her hair won t grow all the way back in so she might have a bald bottom for the rest of her life.
