Benny is a two year old medium sized dog -34 pound Pug Cattle Dog Mixture that is available for adoption at our Humane Society. His owner surrendered him to us in August 2016 when one their kids developed an allergy to dog hair. He is a very friendly playful and active young dog that needs a dog experienced home. Benny will need a home that will be able to spend a lot of time with him. Benny has a lot of energy and enjoys playtime outdoors in our fenced yards or going for walks on our dog trail with the shelter staff and volunteers. He is very social and gets along well with people and older kids teenagers. He does jump up when he gets excited so he is not suited to be around kids under 10yrs of age. Benny also likes to play with other dogs that can tolerate his energy level and has been respectful of the shelter cats (though he wants to chase them...he does give them space when they hiss and swat at him)....
