Adopt Ebony a Black Flat-Coated Retriever Mixed dog in New Cana

Ebony was found roaming around in Baldwin County AL along with her six pups. A humane trap was set to capture the little family and they were brought to the local shelter. The dogs were all in fairly handsome condition and at good weights so it does not seem like they were out on their own long. When she 1st came to our rescue wonderful Ebony was very depressed and did not eat for several days. We wondered if she was possibly missing her person as it surely seems that she was once someone s pet. We can t help but wonder where was Ebony s family and why was there no 1 frantically searching for their beloved pal and her pups Had they worn out their welcome This tender soul was in a very scary and dangerous situation in a southern shelter with a high euthanasia rate. And being black in coloring the color least adopted Ebony s life was in danger. Although Ebony did not deserve this disloyalty from her family she holds no grudge and is is ready to move on to the next chapter in her life....
