Tucker High Plains Trail Saddle
This is the popular High Plains Trail saddle by Tucker. It is 17.5 inches but with the extra padding it compares to a 16.5 normal saddle. It is a regular width which fits most horses with defined withers. It will not fit a flat withered rounder horse. It will do well with gaited horses as the tree is flared to permit free shoulder movement. This is the most comfortable saddle I have ever ridden in. Super cushioned and the stirrups are hung just right for trail comfort. My foxtrotter loved it until she gained back her post baby weight and now needs a wider saddle. There is slight wear under the fenders where they rub on the underskirts but nothing that you can see and certainly not that affects the function of the saddle. It has been lightly used and kept indoors when not in use. Check out Tuckers website for more info on these saddles.
