Hi I m Kledo. I m an extremely outgoing gentle and sweet 4 year old male pointer mix who was recently rescued from a brutal existence in the Yukon. I lived most of my life chained outdoors with little more than an unheated dog house for protection from the extreme winter temperatures. When a neighbor couldn t stand to see me suffer anymore he asked my owner if he could have me. Without much thought my owner said Sure take him. This is how I was finally rescued and given a chance at a better life.I have a medium energy level and love to run and play fetch outside so a backyard would be wonderful for me. Inside the house I am quiet calm and respectful. I love lying down and cuddling on the couch as is apparent from my pictures. I love the company of humans and enjoy meeting new people and making friends. I am great with kids and other dogs but I have not been tested around cats. Even with a rough start in life I am not resentful angry or aggressive. In fact I am just so happy to be given a second chance at a new life that I m just a happy playful and loving dog enjoying everything that life now has to offer me.As soon as someone applies to foster foster-to-adopt or adopt me I will be flown down from Whitehorse into their loving arms I am housetrained can use a pet door am neutered and up to date vaccinations.
