Bumba is a lovable and entertaining 15 year old male Congo African Grey parrot. I am getting on in years and want to find him a permanent loving home. Due to some neglect at a previous owner s home he is a partial plucker. He plucks his outer feathers but leaves his down feathers in place so he doesn t have any bald spots. I believe if someone had more time to spend with him than I do the plucking behavior would disappear. Also I work nights in the same room where Bumba sleeps and the light disturbs him so a home where he has privacy at night would be an improvement for him. Bumba is afraid of hands and is cage protective so he doesn t like to be handled and will bite if you get too close. Again I think if someone spent the time working with him he could be hand tamed but right now he isn t. He is a fun loving bird and likes to swing upside down from the ceiling of his cage and ring the bells on his toys. He likes peanuts and fruit for a treat and will eat out of your hand if you approach him carefully so he doesn t get scared. He is also a good talker and can say Hello Good Morning Byebye Good Night Fresh Water and many other things. He comes with 3 cages and is looking for a forever home.
