Greetings My name is Kaylee Kay or Kay Kay or affectionately called Special K. I am a really lucky girl especially now I am now safe with Rover Rescue. I was originally found as a stray dog in Southern Indiana. I was taken to a shelter where I stole the hearts of everyone I met. The shelter workers were ecstatic when they found out that I was going to a rescue in IL. You see Coonhounds like me have a very hard time getting adopted in the area I come from. We are called the Pit Bulls of the South- we are overbred and under appreciated My foster mom loves Coonhounds and Treeing Walker Coonhounds are her favorite. She loves the tri-color of our coat and just laughs when she is asked if I am an oversized beagle. I don t know too many beagles that weigh 68 lbs. The veterinarian seems to think I am around 4 yrs old and that I have one or 2 or twenty litters. Yes I was another 1 of those puppy making machines. More than likely my 1st owners kept 1 of my adorable offspring and dumped me....
