How I arrived I was brought in by a Good Samaritan on July 16 2016.At SDHS I am a handsome boy with a great personality I arrived at SDHS with a facial wound and the medical team has helped me heal and feel better. Due to this I have spent a lot of time with staff and they have just fallen in love with my sweet nature. I am feeling great now and ready to find my forever home I have been living with a couple of other FIV cats and we have been doing well together. I may be able to go home with another FIV cat if my new family already has one or are interested in adopting another. FIV causes cats to be less able to fight off infection but with good care many FIV cats can live their normal lifespanss. Preventive care is especially important regular veterinary visits good dental care and a non raw food diet. FIV can only be transmitted to other cats and therefore they should only live indoors and with other FIV cats or be a single cat.
