Baby Louie - Male Shih TzuTerrier (Unknown Type Small) Mix

Baby Louie is a 5 year old neutered male shih tzu terrier mix who weighs about 9 lbs. Louie was rescued from a high kill shelter after being picked up as a stray. This poor little man was just pitiful when he arrived at the shelter. He was completely infested with fleas had hair loss and open wounds from itching himself so much and was absolutely terrified. Louie is doing his best to be brave and to trust people but is still pretty overwhelmed and scared. He s going to need someone willing to give him the patience and love he needs to learn that people can be kind and gentle. Louie has been fine with other dogs but really hasn t paid them much attention at this point. He would be best in a quiet home without young children so that he can slowly come out of his shell and see how great a dog s life can really be.
