Elliott five year old neutered male Labrador mixture 80lbs (special needs) Elliott was adopted as a puppy from a shelter after being found on a highway with a broken right front leg. He made a full recovery after pins and surgery and was adopted by his current family at one year old. He has full strength and range of motion in both front legs and has lived happily with the family the past 4yrs. Elliott has a condition that causes him to lose coordination and strength in his rear legs at times. His owners live in a third floor walk-up apartment in the city without a yard. It has become increasingly difficult for Elliott to safely navigate the three flights of stairs to get outside and he can no longer walk all the way to a local park. Although they love him very much the owners want Elliott to have a better quality of life and are surrendering him so that he could be adopted by a family with a single story house and a yard which would make it much easier for Elliott to get outside and play....
