Nickname Sugar Plum Posted Breed Pitbull Terrier Shepherd Mixed. Meet wonderful silly Sugar Plum a one-year-old pup who loves affection and attention toys and cuddling for petting Sugar was rescued from an overcrowded local shelter and is so excited to be in the safe and loving environment of Providence Animal Center She has some hearing loss so a big overcrowded shelter was a particularly scary place for her. As she decompresses here she is showing all of us what a cute dog she can be and we are figuring out how best to communicate with her (it turns out low pitches high pitches and hand signals work best). We believe that Sugar Plum is housebroken and she knows some obedience commands too. She is sometimes a little bit high energy and we think she would do really well with people who could either give her a fenced back yard to run in or regular exercise....
