Millie (6 years old) is a Cockatoo Bird. Hello everyone My name is Millie and you may have heard my lovely voice before you even stepped foot in the building I am a 6 year old Moluccan Cockatoo who was transferred here from Virginia Beach Animal Control when my guardian has passed away and there was no one willing to care for me. I am a very social gal and would prefer to spend every moment of my day with people which is why you can hear my call from so far away. That is my call of freindship and I am looking for a very special person to bond with me We Moluccan Cockatoos are not known for talking much but are well known for our needy personalities and operatic voice volume I will need a home that has adequate space for a large cage for me and has the time to give me all the love that I so badly crave I will also need a family that understands that I will be around for quite some time.
