Nickname Micah Posted Breed German Shepherd Dog. MICAH is a tall handsome guy who recently came to us as a starvation case and was roughly half his normal body weight. He was dumped at a shelter by a family who gave no reason and sadly they will not be prosecuted for this extreme cruelty. But Micah is safe and steadily gaining ground in his sweet foster home. He gained 7lbs in the 1st two weeks with small feedings multiple times a day his fur is starting to shine and the thin patches are becoming thicker and healthier. We suspect that when he s up to weight he ll be between 90-95 pounds - a big boy Micah is a very friendly guy who really just wants to love and be loved. He Seeks attention He ll be a velcro dog at least for a while until he becomes confident that his new-found safety and securty are permanent. Until then he ll shadow your every step and you ll have to be careful not to trip over him. For now he s still a little uncertain around new people (especially men)....
