Labradoodles are among the standard sized Designer dogs. They are a mixture between the Lab Retriever and a Poodle usually a Standard Poodle. Typically Labradoodle are low to no shedding particularily F1b which is what ours are. Labradoodles have been intentionally bred since the 1980s and are known to be intelligent dogs that are easily trained as guide therapy and assistance dogs for disabled and handicapped people. These dogs are considered gentle and safe with kids. The Labradoodles love water and are playful and energetic creatures that supply loads of family fun. ABOUT US We got our 1st poodle fifteen years ago when my kids wanted a dog and was looking for 1 that didn t affect their allergies. Previously we have only had strays and rescues but with the need for a non shedding dog I went on the search for a Poodle. We had so much fun with the pup that we considered hiring a stud and having a litter of our own only to find out that for the price we could buy another little boy....
