POSITION SUMMARY The Dental Specialist is responsible for the coordination of patient visits to the MVH Dental Center and for the provision of dental assistance to the Dentist through patient flow coordination and chairside assistance when scheduled in the treatment area. ACCOUNTABILITIES Obtain registration information determine patient eligibility file paperwork for authorizations schedule appointments maintain accurate patient medical records maintain statistical data sort mail perform billing & cashiering functions daily processing of charges chairside assisting radiology sterilization infection control equipment supply maintenance other duties as assigned.
