Adopt Brewster a Tricolor (TanBrown and Black and White) Sheltie

Brewster is a 6yr old pure bred Shetland Sheep dog with documents who is looking for a forever home with lots of patience for a dog with lots of personality. Brewster suffered from a broken leg a few years ago when someone stepped on him. As grandchildren arrived it became an issue when they began climbing on him and eventually 1 of them was bit when they fell on his bum leg. Brewster was immediately given up and Brewster became even more leery around anyone he didn t know that tried to assist him with standing on hardwood floors or even brushed against his backside. He wore a muzzle quite a bit in the beginning of his stay with us. From his foster mom Brewster has been with us for quite awhile and he completely trusts us so it proves he can be a nice dog over time with anyone who adopts him. But he still gets muzzled when he goes to the groomer and veterinarian we have had no incidences and don t want to test the waters....
