Adopter or foster needed for terribly neglected 18 - Male Doberm

We have both short and long term opportunities varying from 2 - 8 hours per week.Wonka was terribly neglected then dumped in a high kill shelter at the age of 18 by his previous owners. He was skin and bones- one of the worst cases of starvation we have seen- and he was also dehydrated. He was saved from the shelter on 11 6 by a kind man who has been rehabilitating him and taking him for extensive medical care. He is no longer dehydrated and he is eating well. He has been to a local vets office 3 times now and his blood work came back normal. In addition he recently had a home vet visit him when he was having an off day and then another follow up the next day with the same home vet. Wonka also has more upcoming vet appointments with a cardiology specialist and an oncology specialist. No cancer has been detected as of yet but the home vet felt that it would be a good idea to go to a specialist to rule it out. An irregular heartbeat was detected and it is expected that he will be put on heart meds)Wonka is looking for an indoor foster home or adopter who can spoil him and help continue his rehabilitation. Please note that Wonka is incontinent so he needs a very special loving person who doesnt mind giving him lots of love even though he sometimes has potty accidents. Wonka is good with other dogs of all sizes but the small dogs in his foster home dont really like having such a big dog around so he is also open to finding a new foster home in addition to a forever adopter. Can you give Wonka the love he has missed out on his whole life and spoil him for the remaining time he has left He is so sweet and suffered so many years at the hands of his cruel owners who starved him to near death.
