Nickname Lexi Posted Breed Poodle (Toy) (medium coat). ADOPT ME Female Toy Apricot Poodle COURTESY POST Lexi is an approx 8 yr old 8 pound Toy Poodle. She is a retired breeding dog. When rescued she was in terrible condition . She is healed now and amazingly heartworm negative. She has put on weight had her teeth cleaned (she lost most of her teeth and will be spayed on October 28th. Then she ll be ready to go to her new home Lexi is a calm timid lovable gentle little girl She is timid about handling but loving and loves to be near you...and wants to be with you always. She has some separation anxiety which was pretty severe at 1st. We started her on prozac and she is doing much better. I can leave her (crated) for a few hours at a time without her panicking. She should probably stay on the Prozac for a couple of months to give her time to get settled then hopefully she can be weaned off....
