This is the Animal Description HeaderThe beautiful tri-color Walker hound was left in a foster home for ten days without any food water or care. The county shelter picked her up and she s now found her way to Milo The gorgeous girl walks well on leash rides great in the car and is house- and crate-trained. Kaweah is loyal loving and affectionate and exhibits decent recall skills. Occasionally she will give chase to squirrels or birds but is not great around horses. Kaweah would be best suited for a home with older children and adults (the unexpected movements from babies and toddlers unsettle her). Since Kaweah is a purebred hound she will need a lot of exercise in an area with a secure perimeter. She loves hiking and trips to the dog park (where she can be trusted to play well with others).
