He was an unclaimed stray who is heartworm positive and was going to be put down but we plan to get that treatment done soon and then he s good as new. Andy is learning the house training and crates for the workday. He has a soft spot for kids (face level for kisses) and makes friends easily with other pets. His outgoing enthusiastic personality endears him to everyone. This HHK9 canine has tested positive for a heartworm or tick borne disease and treatment will be done through our vet before an adoption is finalized so that we can do our part to ensure a healthy happy dog joins your home. Heartworm treatment consists of a 2 day treatment at the vet followed by 4 weeks of restricted activity and placement timing is on an individual case by case at the comfort level of the foster and adopter.
