Sandy - Female Miniature Pinscher

Sandy is a lovely little Min Pin that was rescued from a rural North Carolina shelter. She was left there by her owner after an elderly relative had to move in and Sandy became too much trouble. Sandy is 7 years old and weighs 15 lbs though she is quite overweight. We suspect that she needs to lose at least 4 lbs and then be re-evaluated. She does have a docked tail and natural ears. She is quite nervous in a new environment and we suspect a home with no small children will be best for her. She s quite the lap dog and is trying very hard to settle in. She is fine with other dogs.
