Hello there My name is Jack a sweet senior Rat Terrier here at Helping Hands. I was brought into the shelter because my owner couldn t take care of me anymore. If you re looking for a gentle companion I might be the guy for you. My ideal household would be a calmer and quieter environment with a family that will give me plenty of time and patience to adjust to my new surroundings. HEIGHT 16 WEIGHT 27lbsHOW MUCH EXERCISE DO I NEED I m not a very active guy and like to spend most of my time lounging around. I would benefit from going on regular walks to keep my mind and body healthy.DO I KNOW ANY TRICKS My previous owner said I have not had any training. AM I A GOOD INSIDE DOG I would love to live indoors with my new family because I have always lived indoors. I m a quiet boy that likes to lie around and watch the day go by. DO I LIKE CATS I haven t been around cats while here at shelter so ask your adoption counselor to do a cat test to make sure we get along. DO I LIKE CHILDREN I think I would do best in a home with older children who will love and pet me but will also understand I am no puppy and that I don t play much these days.DO I LIKE OTHER DOGS I haven t had much of a chance to interact with other dogs while I ve been here.
