Meet Mia She is a happy friendly young dog. She weighs about 55 pounds. Mia is a social girl and she loves people and other dogs. She bonds easily and will be the perfect addition for the right person or family. Mia has a few typical young dog behaviors that are being worked on in her foster home and she will need her future family to continue to teach her good manners. Mia enjoys training because she is smart and loves the positive attention. She jumps on people upon greeting because she is so happy to see them She enjoys the plush comfort of a dog bed or laying next to you on the couch. Mia is a young dog with plenty of energy she will do best with an active family that will play in the yard with her and take her on walks. Mia is housebroken and crate trained and is still working on a few of her manners. Mia would do best with a fenced yard so she has a safe place to play. Dogs have been heartworm tested and if appropriate (age and time of year) all dogs and puppies are given heartworm preventative. All are given medication to rid them of roundworms and checked and treated for fleas & ear mites if needed. Dogs and puppies are given distemper vaccines and depending on how long the pet has been in foster care additional distemper vaccine(s) may be necessary and the expense will be incurred by the adopter. Any canine over 4 months of age is brought current on the Rabies vaccine. Additional vet care may have been provided depending on the particular animal s needs. Dogs are individually priced as above. Please note that we do not ship dogs and we cannot guarantee that a long trip to see a foster dog will result in an adoption or taking the dog home on that day.
