Mel - Female Yorkie Yorkshire Terrier Mix

Mel is a beautiful Yorkie mix. She weighs only about 5 pounds. We think she may be 3 or 4 years old. When she came in he was scared to death and tried to bite. We believe it to be mostly out of fear because she wags his tail constantly. Several times we spending time with Mel getting her well socialized and we are making great progress. Mel is now letting us pet her well holding her in our laps and picking her up and holding her close. She still has a little fear when she is touched on her neck - but that will subside. Mel loves being outside in our play yard and she is good with other small dogs. She is ready now for adoption by an experienced owner. Otherwise we think she ll be good to go maybe the second week in November.
