Gin is 1 of a litter of seven pups. These pups (5 girls and two boys) were thrown out at a truck stop on Interstate 35 in Missouri when they were about six weeks old. We estimate their date of birth at August 20th. They are Australian Shepherd Australian Cattle Dog (Blue Heeler) mixes so they should be med sized adults between 35 and 55 lbs fullgrown. Gin is a sassy girl. She is usually the 1st one to figure out how to do something new. Gin is also the puppy who wakes up from a nap and then goes and wakes up the other pups to play with her. Aussies and Heelers are working dogs and smarter than many people. They are active affectionate and loyal. They need companionship exercise and a job to do. They are not suited to apartment or condo living. They need fenced yards to exercise in. These breeds excel at agility and advanced obedience training. Both breeds were bred to herd cattle or little kids that run and squeal if there aren t any cattle nearby....
