Meyer is available for adoption through Colorado Canine Rescue (CCR) a nonprofit dog rescue located in the Denver area. He came to CCR from a rural shelter in Texas and so there isn t much history on him. CCR believes that he is a Chihuahua mix with maybe some Jack Russel Terrier but that is just a guess made by shelter staff rescue volunteers and our veterinarians. He is approximately 4 months old. Meyer is a sweetie with a bit of a sensitive side. He loves to cuddle get kisses and be held and when you are watching TV he wants to sit or sleep on your lap. He enjoys car rides and likes to chew on bones and play with his toys. He likes to play with dogs closer to his own size. He can be intimidated by bigger ones but does get used to them with some time. He is doing good with potty training but there are still occasional accidents (typical for a puppy ). He does use puppy pads as well. He is learning to take treats nicely and goes into his kennel very willingly when his foster parents go to work.
